These are some of the ways in which you can support your child at home. The following power points are from a presentation made to parents in 2019. We hope you find the information useful.
Useful maths websites to support student’s learning
www.corbettmaths.com is a good maths website for Y7-11. It has videos, questions and answers listed by topic name. Also has a useful section for GCSE revision called ‘5 a day’ with 5 mixed topics questions for every day of the year, split into multiple levels. A link for the answers appears every now and then throughout that month’s questions.
www.mathsgenie.co.uk is a good website for GCSE and A level.
For GCSE, it has topics listed by grade with videos, questions and answers. There’s also past papers with mark schemes, written solutions and video solutions.
Under the A level revision section, topics are separated into Y12 and Y13 topics and includes videos, questions and solutions. There’s also past papers with mark schemes, written solutions and video solutions.
