Start of the Day 8:40am. You should be at your form room ready for PDT (Personal Development Time) by then. If you arrive at school early you may go to the canteen for breakfast or wait in one of the social spaces.

Quiet Spaces at break and lunch
At break and lunch there will be a quiet area for students in the quad opposite the maths classrooms (room 26 – 29).
Hot meals will be served in the canteen at lunch for all students.
Students who bring their own packed lunch can eat it in the canteen.
Snacks will be served in the canteen at break time.
Attendance and Punctuality
Being at school regularly, and on time, is vital if you are going to learn successfully. Always make sure you are at your form room by 8.40am.
If you arrive after 8.45am you must sign in at the school office where you will be issued a 15-minute detention for lunchtime of the same day in room 204 (unless you have a genuine reason for being late). If you fail to attend the late detention you will be given one final chance to do it the following day before it is escalated to an 80 minute SLT detention on Friday after school. Students who are repeatedly late will be followed up by the attendance team.
If you are absent please ask your parent/guardian to let school know why either by ringing the school reception on 01246 472220 or by texting 07860 055910.
When you return to school please remind your parent/guardian to write a note and hand it to your Form Tutor.
If you have problems about coming to school talk to someone first e.g. your Form Tutor, Student Support Lead or the Attendance Officer. Unauthorised absence (truancy) will not make the problem go away.
