Year 6 Transition
We were excitedly planning and hoping to host at least one Y6 transition day for your son/daughter this year. Unfortunately the recent increase in COVID 19 cases across educational settings in Derbyshire has impacted on our school and we have been forced to review our end of term plans to ensure we keep all of our students, staff and families safe. We have been advised that all transition days prior to the summer should not go ahead. Here is some information that we hope you will find useful, and if you have any questions please contact us at school. The summer school will still be going ahead from 23rd – 27th August, providing there is no tightening of National Guidance, and we look forward to meeting many students during that week. If you have not signed up to the summer school but wish to take part please contact Mrs Connolley on n.connolley@netherthorpe.derbyshire.sch.uk as soon as possible, and before the summer holidays, to see if places are still available. You can come into school to purchase uniform on Friday 23rd July 12pm – 6pm, Thursday 12th August 2pm – 6pm or Friday 13th August 12pm – 6pm.
