We aim to provide a safe, healthy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all our students. Whether choosing from a range of hot meals in our school cafeteria or bringing a packed lunch, we ensure that all students have access to nutritious food in a supervised and comfortable environment.
This page outlines important information about lunchtime arrangements, payment systems, and support available for families who may qualify for free school meals.
Staying on Site
All students must remain on the school premises during lunchtime. For safety and supervision reasons, students are not permitted to leave the school site.
Food Options
Students can choose from:
- Hot school meals served daily with a variety of options, or
- Sandwiches or packed lunches, which must be eaten in designated areas.
How to Pay
We operate a cashless system in school. Payments for food, trips, and other items are made through ParentPay.
Currently, students use swipe cards to pay for meals. If a card is lost, a replacement costs £2.
We are planning to introduce a fingerprint payment system soon to make things even easier.
Please note : No credit is given, so funds must be loaded in advance via ParentPay.
Free School Meals
Your child may be eligible for free school meals if your household income meets certain criteria.
- Eligible students receive a daily allowance of £2.53, which covers food and drink.
- If a student spends more than £2.53, the extra must be paid using their ParentPay balance.
